Connecting Bodies, Minds, and Spirits through YogaWe welcome teachers and students of all traditions, and those just getting started with yoga, to join in fellowship for the study, practice, and promotion of Yoga in our local and regional communities. Established in 1977, YSN is one of very few organizations of its kind. We are a not-for-profit organization with an all-volunteer Board, dedicated to connecting the community with this ancient tradition. We are equally committed to a student’s personal growth, a studio’s success, and also "de-mystifying” yoga for those who are curious. Our role has changed since the organization’s conception over 30 years ago, but our mission is the same. We want you to stay connected to the yoga you love! 
MEMBERSHIP Membership has its priviledges. If you are not a member, please consider joining us. Your support allows us to continue the YSN tradition. - We publish Salutation, a quarterly newsletter, which includes articles and information about our regional yoga community.
- We send a monthly e-newsletter, featuring our comprehensive Calendar of Events that lists special events, retreats, and workshops hosted by YSN members. This is a great way for teachers and studios to advertise, and practitioners will find a year's worth of events at their fingertips!
- Scholarships are offered annually to teachers and students of yoga.
- Teachers can join the Teacher e-mail list where job postings, subbing opportunities, volunteering opportunities, and teacher training events are featured.
YSN EVENTS
In addition to monthly events for members, we host the following special events each year: - Two annual workshops and/or retreats each year.
- An annual Anniversary Party in February.
- Yoga Day USA celebration, complete with a Yoga Fair, retreat, or other special event.
